who we are

We’re not just another physical therapy clinic - we’re YOUR physical therapy clinic.

What sets us apart? We take the time to really understand YOUR injury and YOUR goals, creating a treatment plan that’s as unique as YOU are. With our experience and expertise, we’ll guide YOU through every step of your recovery.

Physical therapy isn’t just about exercises or techniques - it’s about what works for YOU. One of the most common questions we hear is, “What’s the best exercise for my back (shoulder, knee, etc.)?” The truth is, there’s no single best exercise, but there is one that’s best for YOU in YOUR current situation - let’s find it together!

That’s why we’re here. For YOU.

Expertise.

Quality of Service.

Trust.

Boris Gladun, PT, MPT

Physical Therapist, Owner

I have been a Physical Therapist for 25 years in the Lakewood / University Place area after graduating from the University of Puget Sound School of Physical Therapy.

What I love most about being a PT is working directly with people; that is something I’ve always had passion for.

It’s a privilege to work directly with people and help them realize their physical potential and wellness goals.

AND … It is always a pleasure to “bump” into former patients at a grocery store, or get a simple stop-by in the clinic just to say hi. 😊

what do we treat

We provide physical therapy, hand therapy, massage therapy, and treat a full range of musculo-skeletal conditions. We always try to find the most efficient path for you to get better. Thorough evaluation, individualized treatment, and an efficient therapeutic exercise program that makes sense to you - these are the keys to a successful physical therapy treatment. Below are just a few common conditions we treat as well as our specialties:

Common Conditions

Pre- and Post-surgical rehabilitation

While post-surgical physical therapy visits became a standard in rehabilitation, pre-surgery rehab is what sets you up for success.

Total joint replacements: knee, hip, shoulder, ankle

We provide comprehensive rehabilitation for total joint replacements, including hip, knee, shoulder, and ankle surgeries. Our personalized therapy plans focus on restoring mobility, building strength, and reducing pain to support a smooth and successful recovery. Whether you're regaining independence in daily activities or returning to an active lifestyle, we’re here to help every step of the way.

And … a single pre-op visit before joint replacement goes a long way in setting expectations and answering questions you might have.

Work Injuries

We'll help you to return to work and your life successfully, safely, and quickly.

spine CONDITIONS

We provide expert treatment for a variety of spine conditions, including herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and chronic back and neck pain. Our personalized approach focuses on reducing pain, improving mobility, and strengthening the spine for long-term relief. Whether you're recovering from an injury or managing a chronic condition, we’re here to help you move and feel better.

cervicogenic headaches

Don't confuse these with migraines! These might stem from neck dysfunction and posture issues. Our targeted physical therapy approach focuses on relieving pain, improving mobility, and addressing the root cause of your headaches. With hands-on techniques, posture correction, and personalized exercises, we help you find lasting relief and prevent future discomfort.

- Whiplash and MVA

- ankle sprains

Some dismiss them as a mere nuisance that will heal on it’s own? In reality, left untreated these can cause havoc up the lower extremity chain: knee, hip, low back.

- Sport Injuries

Injuries happen when being active. We provide treatment for sports injuries, helping athletes of all levels recover quickly and safely. Whether you're dealing with a sprain, strain, or more complex injury, we use evidence-based techniques to reduce pain, restore function, and prevent future issues. Our goal is to get you back to the activities you love—stronger and more resilient than before.

Unique Programs We Offer

hand Therapy

Hand therapy is the art and science of evaluating and treating injuries and conditions of the upper extremity (shoulder, arm, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand). It uses a number of therapeutic interventions to help return a person to their highest level of function. It evolved from the need for a specialist with the knowledge and experience required to manage the challenging recovery of complex hand and upper extremity injuries.

We are happy to have a Certified Hand Therapist on our staff to provide you with the best possible rehabilitative care for your hand.

Fall prevention and balance

Statistics are brutal here. 1 out of 4 older adults (65+)  falls every year. In 2014 alone, 29 million falls occurred among the older adult population of 47 million. Don't take our word for it, here is a link to the CDC site.

Complete Physical Therapy has a unique Balance and Fall prevention program that includes a screen to identify fall risk, a home exercise program, and optional classes with a post-screen to assess your progress.

Have questions about it? Our physical therapists would love to address them. Contact us if you or your loved ones need help - We Love to Help!

Osteoporosis

Individualized exercise programs are crucial to ensure safety with exercise when one is diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia, as the degree of bone loss, health conditions, and exercise habits must be taken into account. We are developing a unique comprehensive Osteoporosis Program. Contact us for details.

- Scoliosis

Our clinic specializes in scoliosis treatment for adolescents and young adults, offering personalized care to improve posture, strength, and spinal alignment. We use evidence-based methods, including the Schroth Method, to help manage scoliosis effectively and enhance overall function. Whether you're looking for conservative treatment options or support alongside other medical care, we're here to guide you every step of the way.

vestibular (BPPV) rehab

BPPV is one of the most common causes of vertigo. Physical therapists are successful in recognizing and treating this condition. While initial focus is on reducing dizziness and improving balance, follow-up treatments are designed to restore stability and confidence in daily movements so you can get back to being yourself.
